Children’s Day “Koinobori”
Children’s Day (May, the 5th) is coming soon, and Kindergarten children had made their own Koinobori (carp) as our customary art project. The A-JIS annual Spring Carnival 2017 took place last Saturday, April, 22th, at our Hikarigaoka Campus. Kinder and Grade 1’s Easter Parade 2017
Kinder and Grade 1 children showed off their hats to the elementary school by parading through the second floor hallway and then proceeding to the gym via a lap of the jungle gym. Both parents and A-JIS young learners enjoyed the funny Easter Parade 2017. Thank you for coming!
Grade 8 Visit to the Printing Museum, Tokyo
Grade 8 students visited the Printing Museum in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo as part of their new Unit about Printmaking. Students had the opportunity to test their knowledge and understanding about this unit. They also collected relevant information to complete a short essay about techniques in Printmaking.
