G11 & G12 Challenge Camp 4 September 2018

This year’s trip will be to the Shikine-jima Island, Tokyo.

Learners will have the opportunity to work together to survive overnight including cooking for their own food, organising their own shelter and walk around with a map. Other planned activities are sea kayaking and snorkeling on the day, and hike around the island.

We firmly believe trips outside of the normal school environment are an important way for young people to learn. When students are asked to do things outside of their normal comfort zone they learn exactly how strong they can be and how to work effectively together. Both these life skills are a great asset not just in school but in all aspects of life.
