Stanford e-Japan 29 January 2020

Congratulations to Ryusei for being accepted into the prestigious Spring 2020 Stanford e-Japan program.
The Stanford University Scholars Program for Japanese High School Students or “Stanford e-Japan” is a distance-learning course sponsored by the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE) with generous support from the Yanai Tadashi Foundation. Stanford e-Japan enrolls exceptional high school students from Japan to engage in an intensive study of U.S. society and culture.

Ryusei will be starting this program, concurrently with his school learning, from 24 Feb 2020 til late June 2020 through a series of “virtual classrooms” led by ambassadors, experts and top scholars.

At the end of the program, Ryusei will have the rare degree of expertise about U.S. society and culture and U.S.–Japan relations. This knowledge will have a great impact on his future higher education and career.
