Head of School
I believe A-JIS has defined itself as a school that cares deeply for its students, has a desire for continuous development in the context of 21st century learning, and is committed to providing a caring and supportive learning environment. As educators, we have a significant responsibility to ensure that the next generation of children have the capacity to influence change in a positive and meaningful way.

Learning how to be a ‘good student’ is not a responsible enough aim for a school – we have to become good at helping young people develop as holistic learners – people who always identify, create and make use of all situations to become better, wiser learners through their lives. However, wise learners are not enough without action. At A-JIS we are committed to helping young people become the best holistic learners they can be so they can exercise their ‘active wisdom’ to change our World for the better.
