A Look at The Infirmary 12 November 2015

The infirmary is located on the ground floor across from the kitchen, and is managed by Nurse Maki Kobayashi. I interviewed Ms. Kobayashi and asked her about the infirmary and it’s role in the school as well as her role as the school nurse.

What is the role of the infirmary?
The role of the infirmary is to provide the school with the best possible medical care.

What’s your daily life at the school?
Basically there are high traffic hours that being recess and lunch. Much of the rest of the day is taking care of basic illnesses and injuries.

How long have you been at the school?
I’ve been here for about two and half years.

Do you have experiences abroad?
I have worked as Registered Paediatric Nurse in The UK, New Zealand, and Australia. I am a Licensed Nurse in Australia and Japan.

What is the best part of your job?
Talking to people.
