Bunkyo Campus, our state-of-the-art facility for Grades 10-12, is located in central Tokyo on the Yamanote Line, near Sugamo and Komagome train stations. The campus features modern open-plan classrooms, specialized spaces such as a black-box theater, sound-proof music studios, multimedia rooms, and spacious cafeteria and lobby areas.

The Grade 10 curriculum offers team and research-based approaches to learning, combined with unique real-life experience programs such as internships, to best prepare students for Grades 11 and 12. Students can choose between the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) and the Aoba Global Leadership Diploma (GLD). Both programs provide flexible, personalized pathways aligned with students’ passions and career goals. We are proud that our graduates not only gain entry to top universities worldwide but also follow paths they are truly passionate about, thanks to the skills and mindset developed by our students and the guidance and support of our dedicated advisory teachers.

Beyond academics, Bunkyo Campus offers a range of after-school programs, including sports, Model United Nations, design, and more. These programs support skill development and exploration of interests.

Significantly, Aoba was selected by the IBO as the first school in Asia to pilot the Online IB Diploma Programme, providing options for both in-person and fully online learning for Grades 11-12.
