Partnership, Collaboration and Inquiry 24 August 2017

The Secondary Section of Aoba-Japan International School started the year at full speed on the 21st of August. MYP classes used the first two days to run an inquiry on how they learn. Team-driven inquiry learning is how young people in our MYP learn.

Over 60 parents participated in this first inquiry by joining their children in their classrooms

Collaboration with the community was further reinforced by inviting all parents to an introduction to the A-JIS MYP inquiry-driven model of learning and partnerships were developed with a meet-and-greet session between teachers and parents after their classroom participation.

Parents of our High School classes (from both IB and Global Leadership Diploma strands) attended a meeting to cement the parent-school relationships that will ensure the success of their students.

We would like to thank all participants; Students, Parents and Teachers for such an excellent, energized and focused start to our shared school year.

We are accepting applications
