PYP Workshop 17 January 2018

On January 17th we held a parent workshop to explain the structure of the PYP semester reporting. And it was very successful! The parents became more familiar with our progress indicators which are used to assess students’ progress in the various learning domains.

We also discussed the use of SOLO taxonomy as a way to help students better understand their learning and level of thinking.

We would like to thank all the parents that took their time to attend the workshop and showed their involvement in understanding the semester reporting procedure.

Parent Involvement is key to the success of our students and of our school community. It has been shown in schools around the world that the benefits of parent and family involvement include higher test scores and grades, better attendance, more completion of homework, more positive attitudes and behavior, higher graduation rates, and greater enrollment in higher education.

We are committed to the success of our students and invite A-JIS parents to join us in the upcoming parents workshops!

We are accepting applications
