The Value of Water 5 March 2019
A-JIS grades 2 & 3 recently took a field trip to the Tokyo Water Science Museum as part of their unit, Sharing the Planet. The central idea of this unit being: Water is essential to life and is a limited resource for many people.
At the museum the G2 & 3 Students were tasked with investigating how water is used, understanding the distribution and availability of usable water, and the responsibilities we have with regard to water.
The students found out a lot about how their water arrives to their home, where it comes from and the steps to look after it.
