In collaboration with Bunkyo Gakuin University Girls’ Junior & Senior High School and Fujisawa City, our high school students have been working on the Fujisawa Art Project which will open to the public on May 15.
As a pre-event, a workshop will be held by the students on May 14, so please come and join us!

AOBA × BUNKYO 藍 indigo Project Art Exhibition & Workshop
<Exhibitions: Let’s see the art of high school students! Art Exhibition of Indigo and Marine Garbage in Enoshima>
Overview: Artworks jointly created by students of Aoba-Japan International School and Bunkyo Gakuin University Girls’ Junior & Senior High School will be exhibited.
Under the supervision of Mr. Reita Moriya (Art Moriya Co., Ltd.: Fujisawa City), the students created artworks using Fujisawa indigo, ocean plastic, and trash from the Higashihama coast, as represented by the FUJISAWA BLUEHANDS PROJECT “Marine Litter Problem in Sagami Bay” theme.
The students’ thoughts and messages in their artwork are expressed in the exhibition and are shared on video at the exhibition.

＜Enoshima International Art Festival 2023 Pre-Event＞
Learn to make an “Ai” flower vase during this Free “Ai Paper Nendo” experience!
Overview: As a “pre-event” for the Enoshima International Art Festival, a workshop with local residents will be held at the underground plaza at the north exit of Fujisawa Station.
Participants will have the opportunity to create a single-flower vase artwork using sustainable and colorful materials such as marine plastic, based on indigo and paper clay.
Come join local and international high school students to think about solutions to the marine waste problem in Sagami Bay, through the making of art! Both adults and children are welcome. Please feel free to join us.

「江の島国際芸術祭2023 」出展概要
「 AOBA × BUNKYO 藍 indigo project アート展示＆ワークショップ」
＜展示 高校生のアートを見よう！江の島の藍と海洋ごみのアート展＞
概要：アオバジャパン・インターナショナルスクールと文京学院大学女子中学高等学校の生徒が共同制作したアート作品を展示。
藍左師の守谷玲太氏（株式会社アートモリヤ：藤沢市）監修のもと、“相模湾の海洋ごみ問題”をテーマに、「FUJISAWA BLUEHNDS PROJECT 」に代表される藤沢産の藍と海洋プラスチックや東浜海岸のごみなどを使ったアートを制作しました。
生徒たちの作品にこめた想いや伝えたいことを展示と映像で表現しています。

体験 “藍”の一輪ざしをつくろう
「藍の紙ねんど 」無料体験
概要：江の島国際芸術祭でのアート作品展示の“プレイベント”として、藤沢駅の北口地下広場で地域の皆さんとのワークショップを開催します。
藍と紙粘土をベースに、海洋プラスチックなどの持続可能で色鮮やかな素材を使って一輪ざしアートの制作体験ができます。
高校生やインターナショナルスクール生と一緒に、アート制作を通して身近な相模湾の海洋ごみ問題について考えるきっかけにしてみませんか？大人も子どもも大歓迎です。お気軽にご参加ください。
